About Uganda
Uganda is an English speaking Country located in East Africa whose diverse landscape encompasses the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains and immense Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake by area and the largest tropical lake in the world. Its abundant wildlife includes endangered gorillas and chimpanzees as well as rare birds. Remote Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a famous mountain gorilla sanctuary and one can be in position to see these incredible, endangered creatures from closer than one ever thought possible, while Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest is known for its 43m-tall waterfall on river Nile and wildlife such as hippos, Giraffes.
Queen Elizabeth National Park in the West is known for its Tree climbing Lions, Rift Valley, etc and in the Central you find the source of world’s longest river the Historic Nile and it is because of this that Winston Churchill the former British Governor to Uganda named it the Pearl of Africa.
Uganda is like all of Africa compressed into one country, with a number of National parks that has rare and endangered species. It is also the most ethnically diversified country in the whole World and each ethnic group has its own unique and wonderful culture like dancing style, cooking style etc. It is also one of the most appealing nations and Africa’s friendliest country and it is because of its hospitality that His Holiness Pope Francis during his visit in 2015 called it a Unique Country.
